As a NCMEC partner, Axcess Financial strives to help keep children safer through displaying photos of missing children, and distributing seasonal child safety tips and complimentary child ID kits through a network of more than 1,000+ Check ‘n Go retail locations.

Though thankfully many are recovered quickly, the U.S. Department of Justice reports that nearly 2,100 children may be reported missing in the United States in a single day . . . that's one child reported missing every 41 seconds! Photographs are a powerful and effective tool for law enforcement in the search for a missing child. One in six children featured in NCMEC's photo distribution program is recovered as a direct result of someone recognizing the child's photo. Each month, every Check 'n Go store features color photos of at least four missing children suspected to be in the geographical area. Cumulatively, Check 'n Go stores feature nearly 600 photos of missing children each year.

NCMEC was created to serve as the national clearing house for information on this issue and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing services nationwide for victims, their families and the professionals who serve them. Since its establishment by Congress in 1984, NCMEC has operated the toll-free 24-hour national missing children’s hotline (1-800-THE-LOST) which has handled more than 2.3 million calls.
